剧情介绍
督察江子山（陳錦鴻）頭腦冷靜，思想慎密，做事客觀，雖與獨斷獨行的沙展徐飛（古天樂）合作，但仍能以柔制剛，充份利用對方敏銳的直覺和豐富的經驗，屢破奇案。飛因山助他立下不少大功，事業亦見起色，對山深感佩服，二人頓成無敵拍檔。
感情上，這對好拍檔卻分別糾纏於兩段解不開的情緣間：飛一直對失蹤多年的女友芊芊（向海嵐）未能忘情，至俏君（宣萱）出現，二人擦出火花並共賦同居。不料，飛此時突然收到芊芊的消息，他會如何抉擇？而山基於情義，不欲捨下女友婉蘭（佘詩曼）不顧，只好與真心相愛的心如（李珊珊）分開......
